Newlands Bishop Farm - Work Based Learning Solihull

Part of the charity Family Care Trust, Newlands Bishop Farm supports people with learning disabilities and mental health conditions with the opportunity to learn work-based skills. This is provided through our unique work experiences in horticulture, woodwork, gardening, horse care, catering and retail and animal husbandry.

Activities

The farm offers various activities such as animal care, wood work, gardening, horticulture, fruit and veg growing, college courses and catering to adults with learning difficulties and mental health problems to develop confidence and employment skills.

Events

We have seasonal events on throughout the year. With Berry's Café on site we are the perfect spot for young families to visit our animals and grab a bite to eat. Based in Solihull the farm is situated 5 minutes from Birmingham airport.

Get Involved

The farm is popular for CSR days and can offer a wide range of tasks for businesses to come and get involved in. As we celebrate Family Care Trusts 30th anniversary we are looking for more local businesses to get involved with jobs around the trust.
