The community garden project at Saxon Way is an exciting programme of help for local residents offered by adults with learning disabilities, which gives our project workers a sense of worth and teaches them independent life skills, as well as helping pensioners and private customers. http://www.familycaretrust.co.uk/communitygardeningservices.html The staff at Land Rover Solihull have kindly nominated CGS as their chosen charity to sponsor for two years. A helping hand…

Well what a week it has been! Wednesday saw 15 staff from IMI come to the farm to help with various tasks. They split into two groups, one tidying all the wood away from the back of the wood store and the other digging away some of the driveway and laying new kerb stones ready for it to be filled in like the rest of the drive. Sorry for being quiet!!!

Sorry for the quiet patch on the blog! It has been yet again another busy few weeks on the farm. We now have all the electricity we need to supply the new building and are in the process of having all the extra kitchen appliances installed. I think chef is most excited about having the dishwasher up and running most of all! He's hiding his excitement below!
