Quiet time…

Well compared to shovelling all the sand last week, this week has been a little quieter on the farm. The sand is in the arena and our new motto has been roll roll roll! We will hopefully be getting the rubber to go on top as soon as possible and we will soon be able to use the arena as much as possible!

There is some exciting news in the horse care, with a new addition arriving on Monday!  Badger is a 13hh piebald (black and white) gelding (boy) who has a lovely easy going nature and a very chilled out attitude towards life!  There aren’t any pictures of badger yet but there will be plenty once he arrives next week.

The gardening round has now moved its focus from grass cutting to hedge cutting and is as busy as ever! The team in Berry’s cafe is continuing to produce amazing food to warm everyone up at lunch time! Yesterdays toad in the hole went down especially well! The potatoes were especially delicious and were grown on site at NBF!

This week has been project worker forum which gives all the project workers the chance to give feedback about what they would like to see happen around the farm, and any changes they would like. Unfortunately the suggestions about getting tigers and lemurs might not be achievable at the moment!
