Project worker forums took place last week which allowed the project workers to discuss any ideas they have for the farm for now and in the future. It is a great time for everyone to share their views and to make sure that what we are doing at the farm is what everyone wants (although ideas of elephants in the animal care section may not be achieved!).
Aside from the project worker forums the whole farm has been catching up with work that wasn’t able to be done in the snow. The horses field is finally poo picked much to everyone’s relief! The wood work groups have been busy making bird and bat boxes to put around the farm ready for the birds to nest in spring.
The horticulture team have been re-vamping their work shack, ready for all the summer planting to take place in the next few weeks.
