Wow we have had an amazing couple of weeks at the farm!
We have several massive thank yous to make..
Firstly to Landrover who have very kindly donated us a brand new defender to join our Community Gardening Service team over in chelmsley wood. We are still completely overwhelmed by this and would like to thank everyone at Landrover who made this happen and for their ongoing support for the farm and CGS.
What a cool entrance…
Our next thank you goes to Solihull Lions who donated £350 to the farm to help bring the cost of the ticket prices to Horse of the Year show down for those project workers who wanted to go.
Our final thank you for this blog goes to N power who came out in force this week to tackle various projects around the farm. Over 40 employees joined us to help make some new cold frames for the horticulture area, develop the summer-house in the beach garden, re-vamping the path down in the vegetable beds and create a boules pitch outside the back of Berrys Cafe. A group of employees RSA came out the following week and gave the summer-house its final lick of paint so a huge thank you to them as well!
We are always grateful for the amount of time and money people donate towards helping the farm and we look forward to many more visits from groups in the future! We have our annual open day next week (19th September 2014), please be sure to pop down and see what we get up to as well as all the wonderful work these groups have helped us with and Landrovers generous donation!
