Bees, BBQs and Butterflies

What a scorcher July has been! It has been another busy month at the farm with lots of weddings taking place in the tipi!

The bees have finally arrived and are settling in well. They have already been busy collecting nectar from the vegetable beds and we are all looking forward to trying some of their honey next year!

We have welcomed some new additions to the farm today who are yet to be named. As most of you know we always end up giving them very unique names and we are sure pulling their names out of the hat will give us some unexpected results!

The BBQ area has seen a real change over the past week which we hope you will love as much as we do! A massive thank you to Knowle and Dorridge Rotary who have fund raised for and designed the whole area!

The lambs and the pigs are now getting huge! The lambs are all weaned now and the ewes are enjoying a much deserved break after raising so many fantastic lambs!

The fruit and veg areas are now producing some fantastic food for us to eat in the cafe and to turn into jams!

Of course all this lovely fruit and veg is sometimes enjoyed by some naughty extras as well! At least they look beautiful once they are butterflies!
