JLR bash though the farms to do list!

JLR bash though the farms to do list!

Post bashing in the horses field was top of the list and the teams ensured that over 100 posts were bashed into the ground by hand all around the field ready for the field to be used throughout the winter. We have since been able to get the posts all wired up ready for the horses! The groups not only waved their magic wand around the field they…

Npower staff power through jobs at the farm

Today we were joined by some fabulous teams from Npower who helped us get a lot of jobs done all over the farm in the very best wet British summertime weather! The teams helped us get lots of logs spilt ready for winter, weeded the vegetable beds and tackled a huge fencing project! This area will then provide us with a safe hardcore area to work with the sheep as well as fencing off the back of the…

Thank you to our volunteers

Thank you to our volunteers

We are very lucky at the farm to receive wonderful support from lots of local and national companies who want to donate their time helping us develop projects further. Without their help and support projects such as the sensory garden would take twice as long for us to get underway plus the extra finances which would need to be invested to purchase materials. In honour of #nationalvolunteersweek we would like to take this opportunity again to thank everyone that has helped the farm in any way by donating their time or raising funds, we couldn’t do it without you!
