New Recruits

Once again we have had another busy and rather hot few weeks at the farm! The warm weather has certainly been testing and we have now become very skilled at finding shady areas to carry on working in! The wood work team have been incredibly busy building a new office which is absolutely fantastic! The autumn bedding plants are starting to spring into action and we have some really fantastic plants and baskets available this year! Spring Sales Day 5th May!

As you can see on the pictures the lambs are now getting pretty big and extra cheeky! They are into everything and like their moms have quickly learnt that the blue bucket means tasty mix to eat! The plants for the sales day are coming on really well and the green house is now bursting with colour! We will have plenty of bedding plants and hanging baskets available to buy on 5th May 2017 11am-3pm. Sales Day Sunshine

Wow the weather really delivered this sales day! The sun shone and the field was full of cars. We have changed the layout of the farm and so it meant that we had to change the normal positioning of things! Berrys cafe was stocked full of lovely cakes and food ready for everyone to tuck into... The wood work team had a variety of crafts on sale outside the back of Berrys cafe which looked fantastic in the sunshine. Braving Mother Nature!

Mother Nature decided to test us all in our preparation on sales day with torrential down pours all morning! However she sorted it out by the afternoon and we had a nice dry time welcoming everyone to the farm to see what we get up to and to purchase some of the things the project workers have been making/ growing. End of April update…

The horses have now moved onto their summer grazing and are very happy to have lots of lovely grass to gorge themselves on! We went up there on Friday morning to find all of them having a morning snooze! Basil couldn't even make the effort to stand up and greet us... The farm shop is slowly filling up again, with lots of contributions from the wood work team. The shop will fill up with lots of produce from the vegetable beds over the next few months...
