Lloyds lend a hand

Last week we had a huge team (over 100 people!) come from Lloyds to come and tackle some projects at the farm with us. By the end of the day it looked like a fairy godmother had come and waved a magic wand around the farm! The groups split into several teams tackling different projects around the farm. Three of the teams headed to the winter field where the horses and sheep will be throughout the winter. Lex Autolease give us a makeover

On Tuesday a team of 39 came to lend us a hand from Lex Autolease who are part of Lloyds Banking group. We set the team several hard challenges with the hope that they would make a start on them for us. Well they completely smashed our goals and finished all the projects we set them! Goat Goals

Our good friends from Loyds joined us from all over the country again on Wednesday to help us with another mammoth challenge! This time there was a deadline to the task as the team had some new arrivals to get the enclosure ready for, three baby goats! Thirty five willing employees from Lloyds joined us to help build the new enclosure which required a lot of muscle power! Successful September

The farm welcomed over 20 staff from N Power and Lloyds last week to help us out with various jobs around the farm! We now have a lovely neat log pile which was long over due for a sort out! They also made us a brand new picnic bench as well as re staining our stable block ready for winter! As always we would like to say a massive thank you to all those involved as without your help we wouldn't be able to tackle such large projects at the farm! Helping hands

The help is coming from all over and this time we were joined by staff from Lloyds banking group. They joined us on Tuesday to continue on some of the large projects started last week as well as continuing to help us with other projects at the farm! Check it out - Work on the new pig area has begun with removing some of the old fence posts which create a boundary to the farm field. November at the farm

We missed an October blog! Woops! As always another busy month at the farm has come and gone in the blink of an eye! The wood work groups have been busy making also sorts of spooky props ready for the Family Care Trust Halloween ball which was held on 31st October. I think you will all agree that they made a fabulous job of setting the stage for the night! The barn has looked very haunted with all these grave stones!
